Founded in 1953 in Apeldoorn as Bruin Buizen Apeldoorn, BBA has grown into a leading manufacturer with over 200 employees and production facilities in the Netherlands and Czech Republic. For over 70 years, they have provided reliable pumping solutions for dewatering, bypass and flood control applications worldwide.
The history of BBA goes back to 1953, when Mr. Bruin started in Apeldoorn as a producer of piping systems for water transport. In the mid-1970s, BBA began supplying pumps and has since developed into a leading international manufacturer of mobile pump systems. The company name reflects its heritage: Bruin (family name), Buizen (Dutch for piping systems), and Apeldoorn (place of origin).
